Layout Builder
Layout Builder in Cogover is a visual tool that enables users to design and customize object record page layouts with flexibility and ease. This feature reduces design effort, increases customization capabilities, and enhances the user experience.
Applications of Layout Builder:

Object Layout List Management
Accessing the Object Layout List: At Setting app => select Objects => open the object you want to setup layout => select Layouts list
You will be redirected to the Object Layout List screen:
Each layout includes the following information:

Layout Name: Name of the layout. Click to open the Layout setting.

Layout Type:
-
Standard: System-generated layout.
-
Custom: User-created layout.
-

Screen Type: The layout's applicable screen (Create, View/Edit, or both).
-
Status: Either Active or Inactive. Inactive layouts will not display to end users.

Assigned To: Lists Users, Departments, Job Positions, Roles assigned to use the layout.

Created At: When the layout was created.
-
Created By: Name of the user who created it.

Updated at: Most recent update time.
-
Last Updated By: Name of the last person to update the layout.
Column Display Configuration
Click the Settings button → Columns settings to choose which columns appear in the layout list.
You can:

Show/Hide Columns: Check/uncheck columns based on your viewing preferences.

Reorder Columns: Drag and drop items to define their display order.
Actions for a Single Layout

View details: Opens the layout editor.

Assign: Opens a modal to assign the layout to users.

Duplicate Layout: Opens a modal to create a layout copy. Update the name, and assign layout then Save.

Deactivate: Deactivates the layout (it won’t show to end users).

Delete layput: Removes the layout from the list.
Bulk Actions
Only apply bulk actions for custom layouts.

Deactivate: Disables all selected layouts.
-
Delete: Deletes all selected layouts.
Additional Notes
If a user is assigned multiple layouts for the same screen type, Cogover allows the user to choose which layout to use when creating or editing a record. The system will preselect the layout with the highest rank in the layout list.
